Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of SendToSample ("Service") operated for users in the United States and United Kingdom. This is a template — have a qualified lawyer review before public launch.

1. Service description

The Service generates AI-assisted product specification sheets ("tech packs") from images you upload. Outputs are concept documents for communication — not manufacturing-certified specifications.

2. Your uploads

You represent that you own or have permission to use any image you upload. You may not upload content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other rights of third parties.

3. AI outputs & license

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use outputs for your commercial business purposes. Outputs are provided "as-is" without warranty of accuracy, uniqueness, or non-infringement. You are responsible for verifying all specifications before production or factory use.

Pure AI-generated material may not be copyrightable in the USA or UK without sufficient human authorship. Adding your own edits and annotations may strengthen your rights.

4. Acceptable use

  • Use the Service for your own designs or properly licensed references.
  • Do not attempt to reproduce third-party brand logos or trade dress at scale.
  • Do not abuse API limits or upload illegal content.

5. Copyright complaints (USA — DMCA)

If you believe content on our Service infringes your copyright, contact legal@sendtosample.com with: identification of the work, the infringing material, your contact details, and a good-faith statement. We may remove content and terminate repeat infringers.

6. UK users

UK users may report infringement to the same contact. We will respond within a reasonable time. UK consumers may have statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 including a 14-day cooling-off period for digital subscriptions where applicable.

7. Subscriptions & refunds

Pro subscriptions are billed via Stripe. Cancel anytime through the customer portal. Refunds are handled per Stripe policy and applicable consumer law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of AI-generated outputs or factory decisions based on them.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. UK GDPR and UK consumer protections apply to UK users where mandatory.
